Great Rivalries
The Yankees
The crosstown rivals hated each other even before they began playing each other in interleague games.
The Braves
The Braves have been the main rival ever since they went on a streak of 14 consecutive years winning the division starting in 1991. The Braves are always tough for the Mets to beat.
The Red Sox
"The Amazins" were one strike away from losing the World Series multiple times in game 6 of the 1986 Fall Classic, but in the bottom of the 10th inning Mookie Wilson hit the ball through Bill Buckner's legs to win the game. They won game 7 the next day.
